You spend credits only when we write for you.
Reading your data, scoring it and suggesting what to do next are included in every plan, as often as they happen. Credits go on the words and pictures RankMap produces on your behalf, weighted by how much work each one is.
What spends credits
One reply is one credit. Everything else is priced against it.
Review reply
One reply drafted in your voice, for one review.
1credit
Ask RankMap answer
One answer to a question about your listing's data.
1credit
Profile fix draft
A business description or service list drafted for Fix with AI. Applying it is free.
1credit
Post
One post written for your listing — the words and the hashtags — for Google, Facebook, Instagram or all of them at once. Each post of a planned month is one of these.
1credit
Campaign brief
A paid-campaign plan for your listing: goal, themes, area, hours and a budget band, written from your own data.
2credits
Ad copy
The words of the ads for one theme: headlines and descriptions for Google, or the text of a Facebook and Instagram ad.
1credit
Brand style reading
Reading your sample designs into a style your social designs follow. The palette itself is free.
1credit
AI image
One picture composed for a post or an article, with your logo and colours.
2credits
Carousel outline
The words of every slide of a carousel, written from your caption for you to edit. Drawing the slides is charged separately: designed cards are free, AI designs per slide.
1credit
AI design
A designed graphic in your brand's style — headline, logo and colours in the picture — drawn from your sample designs. Twice this at the Best quality level.
4credits
Website article
A full article for your website: around a thousand words with headings, internal links and search-engine fields.
10credits
Article edit
Rewriting a passage, proposing titles, or drafting the SEO fields for an article you already have.
1credit
Links added with AI
Placing links to your own pages inside an article.
1credit
Rank map scan
Checking your keyword from every spot on the grid. One credit for every five spots, so a 7×7 map is 10 credits and an 11×11 map is 25. Reading the map, the score and who outranks you is free.
1credit per 5 spots
A post with an AI image is 3 credits; an article with one is 12. Applying a draft, publishing it, or editing it by hand never costs anything.
Always included
These cost us something to run, and cost you nothing. An allowance that drained while you slept would not be one you could trust.
Audits and their written recommendations
Every audit, scheduled or on demand, with the AI-written read of what to fix. The score is free to check as often as you like.
Review analysis
The themes in your reviews and the period summary on the Reviews page.
Suggestions
Topics to post about, articles to write, categories to add. You pay when we write, not when we suggest.
Rank checks
Your tracked keywords' positions, on your plan's schedule, and reading any rank map you have scanned. The scan itself is priced by its spots, above.
Syncing, publishing and scheduling
Pulling reviews and posts from Google, publishing what you approved, and the weekly digest.

Agency plans share their credits across every listing, so ten businesses each having the month above still fits.
Compare the plans →More credits, without a bigger plan
For the month that runs hot. A pack is bought once, never expires, and is spent only after the credits your plan already includes — so it is never wasted, and it costs less per credit than any plan.

The rules, in full
When do credits reset?+
A month after your plan started, on the same day each month, not on the first. Upgrade and the new plan's allowance starts that day. Unused credits do not carry over; the allowance is a ceiling, not a balance.
What happens when I run out?+
Writing pauses until the reset or an upgrade: new replies, posts, articles and answers wait. Everything else keeps running, including audits, syncing, publishing what is already drafted, and every suggestion.
Is a credit taken if the draft is no good?+
Yes, once it is written. Ask for another and it is another credit. Editing the draft by hand, applying it, scheduling it or publishing it costs nothing.
Do automatic things spend credits?+
Never. Scheduled audits, the weekly digest, review analysis and syncs are ours to pay for. The only automation that spends credits is one you set up yourself, such as a month of posts you asked the planner to write, and it tells you the cost before it starts.
Are rank checks and rank maps credits?+
No. They are measured against your plan's keyword and grid limits, which the pricing page lists separately.
Can I buy more without changing plan?+
Yes — credit packs, above. They are bought once, never expire, and are spent only after the credits your plan includes each month. If you find yourself buying one every month, the next plan is usually the better deal, and the account page will say so.
Where do I see what I have used?+
Account & billing shows the credits spent this period, when they reset, and what each plan includes. The meter and this page read the same table in the software, so they cannot disagree.
Start free and watch the meter
The free plan comes with credits of its own. Your account page shows exactly what was spent and when it resets, so nothing here is a surprise.
